Hyder Ali started serving tasty Non-vegetarian delicacies here 18 years ago. He established his business in a small shack and runs it in the same set up until today. “The set-up is auspicious,” he says. His wife cooks everything and sends it from Angalakuruchi in four to five batches. “Biryani cannot be called biryani if it is served after two and half hours once prepared.” So at Hyder Ali’s Taj, they never prepare food in bulk. They follow a strictly “No Ajino-moto” rule to keep health conscious. It is the Biryani destination for most Kollywood celebrities who come for a shoot to that area!
