Ragi Vada / Pakoda

Ingredients:
- Ragi Powder – 1/2 kg
Shallots – 1/4 kg
Green Chillies – 4
Unsalted Butter – 2 cubes
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Ground Nut – 2 spoons (optional)
Water
Salt
Refined Sunflower Oil
Method:
- Take 1/2 kg of Ragi powder in a mixing bowl.
Add 1/4 kg of chopped shallots and chopped green chillies and mix.
Add coriander leaves, curry leaves and chopped groundnuts.
Add Salt (to taste) and butter.
Sprinkle water and make a coarse mixture.
Make patties for vada by greasing a banana leaf with butter or make pakodas and fry them in hot oil.
Serve them hot . Enjoy the snack with a nice evening tea.
