The bungalow gets its name Sinnadorai from, the erstwhile term for an Assistant Manager of a South Indian tea plantation. With 555 acres under organic tea and 1,215 acres under conventional tea, the history of this plantation Bungalows goes back to 1896 when Captain E. G. Windle M.B.E. visited the area to begin planting coffee. Recently, this vintage Bungalow was aesthetically restored to invite tourists to experience a taste of authentic plantation life – an opportunity to experience a bygone era.
